Welcome to THE Batch Lab. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. The Services & Consultation THE Batch Lab provides professional beverage consultancy, recipe architecture, operational audits, and staff training (collectively, "The Cocktail Revamp Suite"). Specific deliverables, project scopes, and pricing are detailed on our individual package listings or custom project briefs.

2. Rates, Scope Creep & Revisions * Fixed Packages: Tiers 1 and 2 include up to two rounds of tasting and recipe refinement as standard.

  • Hourly Overage: Any additional R&D, recipe revisions, or changes to the project scope beyond the agreed-upon package limits will be billed at our standard benchmark rate of £29.30 per hour.

  • Payment Terms: Project fees must be settled according to the terms stated on your invoice.

3. Intellectual Property Rights All custom recipes, technical specifications, cocktail names, master spec books, and operational assets created during an engagement remain the property of THE Batch Lab until your final invoice is paid in full. Upon receipt of full payment, 100% of the rights and intellectual property for those specific project deliverables transfer entirely to the client venue.

4. Commercial Use Restrictions All original content, text, images, and structural concepts on this website are protected by copyright laws. Visitors may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit any material from this site without explicit written permission from THE Batch Lab.

5. Regulatory & Compliance Disclaimer While our beverage programs and audits are designed to align with standard high-volume operations and regional hospitality regulations (including the Licensing (Scotland) Act), the ultimate legal responsibility for premises compliance, staff licensing, and safe service standards rests entirely with the venue operator.

6. Governing Law These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Scots Law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
